Rehabilitation psychology

In rehabilitation medicine, it is very important for patients to be actively engaged in training. We are conducting clinical researches on psychological states related to rehabilitation with keywords such as motivation, depression, vitality, apathy, and fatigue.

In the process of rehabilitation, patients, their family members, and medical staff experience complex psychological changes, and the psychology of each person intersects with that of each other. We believe that psychology is an essential item in rehabilitation management. Once a year, we hold the "Management Workshop for Physiatrists," a workshop to consider the use and application of psychology in rehabilitation medicine.

Scene of the workshop

A small group of participants discuss various issues in rehabilitation clinical practice over two days.
